It is a picture that comes into our minds whenever we think about summer. A family sitting round a garden table, enjoying a nice barbecue and sheltering from the sun underneath a large parasol.
But not everyone has a garden big enough to accommodate this kind of setting all the time. Most people set up their garden tables and chairs on their patio, but if their patio isn’t huge it can cause problems. Just imagine trying to negotiate your way around that table and chairs if you need to go down to the bottom of the garden for some reason.
And of course you may not have room for a garden table and chairs as well as some sun loungers. If this sounds like the problem you are faced with, the idea of moving your table and chairs every time you want to get out the sun loungers can be a real pain.

You can see why foldaway garden tables are a very popular solution to making the best of your garden. They enable people with smaller gardens to be able to use them in more ways, without having to clamber over the garden table whenever it is not in use. Provided you have somewhere to store it when it is not needed, it is the perfect solution to all eventualities.
It is also a good idea if you have a large lawn but only a tiny patio. In this case you may not be able to accommodate a garden table and chairs on your patio at all. And yet if you put it on the lawn all the time, you will notice that some of your grass will wither and die.
In essence then, if you are at all pushed for space in your garden, make sure you put a foldaway table on your list to buy for the future.
