Now we must warn you that this particular garden table may well be a little expensive for your tastes. But there is no doubt that it is one of the most stunning garden tables we have ever seen – and if the price comes down we shall definitely be in the queue to buy one.
The pondable garden table is just what it sounds like – it provides you with a pond as well as a table. But this isn’t the kind of pond you will put in a separate part of your garden. No – instead of that, you get the pond inside the table itself.
If this sounds all rather unusual you would be right. But you will no doubt love the design because it gives you a whole new reason to sit round the garden table and enjoy a spot of lunch. You can watch the fish swim by as you tuck into your salad, and it will certainly provide a talking point among all those sitting round the table.
The table comes in several formats, but the two main versions are as follows. The first one is a table with chairs around it that can be used independently if you wish. The second version has bench seats round it as part of the frame, so you cannot move them around. But both versions have the fish pond in the middle of the table.
If you imagine a cubic version of the figure eight, this will give you some idea of how the top of the table looks. Or to put it another way, imagine two squares next to each other. The inside of each square is a fish pond. The room around the outside is ample space for your plates, knives, forks and bowls, and whatever else you want to have on the table. You also have the dividing part in the middle on which you can place other things.
The banquet table is rather grander though. This has four sections with small fountains in two of them! Each table does come with covers for each section though, so if you find you need the extra space for serving up food and drink you can make it happen.
So if you are looking for something a little unusual for your garden, why not try the pondable garden table? It might be expensive but it looks to be worth every penny.
